SHRD: Coronavirus tests covered staff returning to workplace

Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SHRD) explained that early test of Coronavirus infections that were carried out for employees of the Sharjah government in cooperation with the Ministry of Health represented by Sharjah Medical District until now it has covered the 30% rate of employees covered by the decision to return to workplace.
As the number of examinations that have been conducted so far exceeds 5000 for male and female employees of departments, bodies and institutions of the Sharjah government to ensure their safety when they start work.

His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of SHRD, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, stated that the examination takes a simple period of no more than 5 minutes from the moment the examining employee enters until the end of process. Pointing out that the results appear within 72 hours will sent via text message to the employee.

He indicated that government employees have been divided into groups to ensure that there is no crowding out of employees present for examination at headquarters during the same day. This is to ensure the application of the precautionary measures of social distance, with gloves, and to cover the nose and mouth with masks.

He stressed that the committee is following up the process of conducting the inspections, and facilitating the procedures that have taken place so far smoothly. He explained that the examination headquarters receives the employees to take vital signs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
