Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources announced its training programmes for the employees of the government of Sharjah for next April. The implementation of these programmes falls within the Directorate’s plans for the development of the government employees in all specialised professional and support fields, in order to provide them with the experience and knowledge they need in their work to increase their performance efficiency.

The Directorate of Human Resources implemented a number of specialised professional diplomas for the employees of the Government of Sharjah in the Eastern Region, in line with the Directorate’s keenness to consolidate the importance of education and the continuing professional development, as well as to install the culture of spreading specialised professional knowledge by adopting programmes for continuing professional development in the labour sectors and linking them to the career paths. These programmes are considered important given the additional learning provided to the employees about the various knowledges related to their functions and specialties, in order to raise their functional and professional competence and allow them to get familiar with the latest developments in their work field.

Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources celebrated in all its branches Mother’s Day on the 21^st of March with its female employees. The event was attended by His Highness Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, at the Directorate’s main building in Al-Liya. The event included several activities to evaluate and honour the working mothers at the Directorate, in recognition of their important roles and valuable contributions to community building, raising generations and serving the nation.

Professional Diploma in Customs Inspection” for Khor Fakkan Customs Centre

The Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah organised, in cooperation with the University of Sharjah, the professional diploma in customs inspection aiming at qualifying and training national cadres in order to provide them with the work skills in the field of customs inspection and increase their competences and capabilities in a number of basic specialised skills related to customs work. The programme will be attended by 19 employees from Khor Fakkan Customs Centre reporting to Sharjah Customs “Department of Sea Ports & Customs”. The programme started on Sunday March 10 and will continue until Thursday, April 4, 2019 for a period of four weeks for an average of 110 training hours. The participant will obtain a professional diploma in customs inspection issued by the University of Sharjah after completing the programme’s requirements.
