The Directorate pursues Waffer exhibitions in Khor Fakkan

The event is part of the promotional programme organised by the Directorate, first at its head office in Layyah and subsequently at a number of authorities and institutions across the Emirate. The aim is to introduce the employees to the services and discounts provided through Waffer in the different sectors. The exhibition was inaugurated by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Director of Branches Affairs Department at the Directorate of Human Resources, in the presence of Abdullah Ibrahim Moussa, Member of Sharjah Consultative Council, Dr. Ali Obeid Al Zaabi, Vice Assistant Chancellor of Financial and Administrative Affairs / Director of the Branches Affairs at the University, Eng. Ahmad bin Abdul Rahman Al Malla, Director of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority/ Khor Fakkan Branch, Rashid Al Naqbi, Deputy Director of Emiri Diwan of Khor Fakkan, Omar Yaqub Al Mansouri, Director of the Real Estate Registration Department  in the Eastern Region, Yousef Yaqub Al Mansouri, Director of the Social Services Department in Khor Fakkan, and Jawaher Seif Al Ode, Director of Events and Community Activities at the Directorate and Head of Waffer Programme, as well as a host of directors, officers and employees from the departments and authorities in Khor Fakkan City. The attendance visited the platforms of the participants that offered them special discounts and gifts designed specifically for the event and presented the services and discounts available to Sharjah government employees holding labour cards and their family members. The exhibition saw the participation of a number of private companies on board Waffer, namely Emirates Airline, Al Tayer Motors “Ford”, Al Ufuq University, the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre BMW, Sharjah Airport Travel Agency “SATA”, Pizzaro Ristorante, Hilton Garden Inn Mall, Sheraton Sharjah Resort and Spa, Copthorne Hotel Sharjah, Arabian Automobiles, Concorde Fujairah Hotel, Rosewood Hotel Abu Dhabi, Bab Al Qasr Abu Dhabi, Medcare Hospitals, Medicina Group, Dnata Travel, Hilton Al Ain, Emirates Refreshments Company (Jeema) and Central Motors and Equipment. Such an initiative reflects the Directorate’s keenness to provide the best services to its employees in all areas of their lives, which in turn reflects positively on increasing their job competence and encouraging them to continue giving their best in their jobs. The aim of such participation is to inform the employees of the privileges, offers and discounts available through Waffer by organising exhibitions for the companies taking part in Waffer across Sharjah government departments all year long and answering the employees’ inquiries in this regard. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi noted the programme’s remarkable success which is evident in the increasing number of participants that are keen to fulfil their social responsibility, contribute to promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors and achieve social development. He thanked all the entities taking part in Waffer since its inception, and which have proven to be a key partner in the success of the Programme as active elements in the social and economic development system. Al Zaabi highlighted the importance of these events that serve the government employees and contribute to their happiness and motivation, raise their competence and productivity and create a motivating work environment for them. On her part, Jawaher Al Ode, Director of Events and Community Activities at the Directorate and Head of Waffer Programme, said the Directorate seeks through this series of promotional events to inform Sharjah government employees of the services provided by Waffer, the participating companies and the offers they can avail of so that they can make effective use of the Programme. Waffer pursues its achievements in line with its strategic plan to provide special and exclusive incentives and services to Sharjah government employees such as to ensure their happiness, encourage them to raise their productivity and create a motivating work environment.
