These events reflect the keenness of the Directorate to consolidate the strategic partnership between the public sector, represented by the government of Sharjah, and the private sector, represented by the companies taking part in Waffer. Mubarak Rashid Al Shamisi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, explained that such events are part of the municipality’s policies to open the lines of communication with the employees of Al Hamriyah government departments. This in turn would contribute to promoting harmony with the work system. On her part, Gawaher Saif Al Oud, Director of Events and Community Activities at the Directorate and Head of Waffer Programme, expressed her pleasure at the organisation of these events. The Directorate, she said, is keen on constantly developing the services provided through Waffer and facilitating employee access to the offers extended by the companies and institutions taking part in the Programme.
