The Directorate introduces Waffer discounts to Sharjah employees

These events constitute a part of the promotional programme organised by the Directorate starting at its head office in Layyah and subsequently held periodically at other government departments, authorities and institutions. They aim at introducing to the employees the services and discounts available through Waffer Programme in the travel and hospitality sectors. The participating hotels presented the work and leisure experience, the high levels of service and the luxury hospitality that makes them a favourite destination for domestic tourism in the UAE. The travel agencies explained the discounts on airfare extended to Sharjah government employees holding labour cards and to their family members as well as the destinations and classes included in the offers. The attendees had the chance to enter draws, win gifts and benefit from offers specially designed for this occasion. Chairman of the Directorate Dr. Tareq Sultan bin Khadim said: “At the Directorate of Human Resources, we believe that it is our social responsibility to offer the best to the employees of Sharjah government, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to launch community initiatives that serve the Sharjah government employees, contribute to their happiness and motivation, raise their competence and productivity and create a motivating work environment.” Bin Khadim explained that the Directorate is keen to activate cooperation with the companies on board Waffer, and that the organisation of such events at the workplace ensures that the employees are well acquainted with the services and offers available through the Programme.
