Sharjah Retirees’ Grants Committee approves 34 applications

The Supplementary Grants Committee for Retirees in the Emirate of Sharjah approved 34 applications during its meeting, on Monday, chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Department of Human Resources and Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of its members.

Applications reviewed and approved

The Committee reviewed 34 applications, comprising 48 new applications and 26 applications for data updates. It approved the applications of eligible beneficiaries after they met the required eligibility conditions, at an annual financial cost of AED 1,730,000.

Disbursement timeline

The approved amounts will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts during January 2026.

Supporting retirees’ living stability

This approval comes as part of ongoing efforts to develop the social support system for retirees and enhance their living stability by providing supplementary grants that help cover their daily living needs.
