As part of the Sharjah government’s commitment to enhancing institutional performance and developing the government work system, the Organisational Structures Committee held a meeting chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Head of the Department of Human Resources, at the department’s headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei, Director General of the Child Safety; Ruqaya Ahmed Al Faqih, Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department; and Huda Saeed Al Hamad, Head of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Department.
Enhancing performance and achieving integration
During the meeting, the organisational structure of the Child Safety was discussed, along with several related developmental aspects, to enhance institutional performance and achieve integration among the various organisational units.
The meeting also addressed the distribution of roles and responsibilities among departments and organisational units to ensure clear authority, strengthen institutional integration, improve performance efficiency, align the organisational structure with the requirements of institutional work, and support the achievement of the Foundation’s goals and mission in the field of child safety, in accordance with best practices in corporate governance.
Guaranteeing sustainable development and high-quality services
During the meeting, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi emphasised the importance of ensuring that organisational structures reflect the strategic directions of the Emirate of Sharjah and contribute to empowering national talent and enhancing institutional performance, thereby guaranteeing sustainable development and high-quality services.
The meeting concluded by stressing the importance of continued coordination and integration between the Department of Human Resources and the Child Safety Foundation, which will strengthen institutional effectiveness and support the development of an integrated system capable of meeting the demands of the next phase.
