DHR concludes the “specialised government personnel” training

22 December, 2025

The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) concluded its Training of Trainers (TOT) programme, which aimed to qualify and prepare training personnel capable of delivering training professionally according to internationally and regionally recognised professional standards.

The programme is part of the department's specialised training programmes offered upon request to government entities, taking into account their actual needs and the nature of their institutional tasks.

Raising training capabilities

The programme targeted employees of Sharjah Finance Department and the Sharjah Economic Development Department. Held at Al Qasimia University (AQU) in Sharjah, the programme focused on raising the awareness, capabilities, and skills of participants in the field of training and its development, enabling them to perform their training roles with high efficiency.

Modern training methodologies

The programme included modern training methodologies that emphasised practical interaction, along with specialised modules on the training lifecycle, programme and training package design, and presentation skills, all contributing to enhancing the efficiency of the training process and achieving its objectives. The programme awards participants a "Professional Trainer" certificate and a two-year global membership from the British Board, in accordance with approved accreditation requirements and standards. This enables them to practice the profession in the fields of training, presentation, and public speaking, contributing to the advancement of their careers and raising the quality of training outcomes in government entities.

Tailored programmes

The programme's implementation aligns with SDHR commitment to providing specialised training and qualification programmes tailored to the needs of government entities. This supports investment in human capital, contributes to enhancing institutional performance, and keeps pace with development and modernisation requirements across various sectors.
