Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) organised a virtual performance appraisal workshop, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. The workshop targeted a number of officials and employees from different government departments, bodies and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The workshop aims to keep pace with the training needs of all government agencies at each stage of the performance appraisal, as part of SDHR keenness to spread the culture of performance appraisal and enhance the knowledge of officials and employees to implement performance appraisal to develop the staff’s performance level and encourage them to innovate and excel at work.

The workshop aims to spread the culture of performance appraisal process among employees and line managers, the know how of implementing the electronic system, and familiarising employees with the general provisions of the performance appraisal system, such as: evaluation of national service employees and grievances.

The workshop also included training on how to set smart goals, which contribute to ensuring that employees will focus on the main aspects of work, thus excelling in an efficient and effective manner.
