Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD) organised a brainstorming workshop under the title "Negatives and Positives of the Coronavirus Pandemic" for the employees of the Department of Awqaf in Sharjah.

The workshop is part of the permanent department of training programmes designed according to the request of government agencies and institutions in the emirate. Where the authorities submit their request according to their studied needs in training, and the department implements them to meet these needs.

The workshop defined the concept of brainstorming and its principles, the meaning of crisis and how to manage it, the difference between crisis and disaster, identifying the classification of crises and the causes of their emergence and diagnosis, and identifying the factors for success in crisis management.

It dealt with the policy of the UAE in confronting the Coronavirus pandemic and managing it as a crisis, and identifying the future challenges of the country to enhance its development and economic model.

At the end of the workshop, the participants simulated an emergency situation in informal conditions free of pressure. The rules and principles of simulation exercises were also defined.
