SDHR reviews achievements in the first quarter of 2021

During the first quarter of 2021, Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) was able to achieve great success in embodying the sustainable development vision with regard to the rise of human capital in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The achievements were represented in a number of areas, the most important of which were the registration of job seekers in SDHR's database, government and private employment, qualifying programmes for job seekers, and development programmes for Sharjah government employees.
SDHR received the requests of job seekers wishing to work in various business sectors through the registeration of the electronic employment service at SDHR's website. This included 1249 requests from job seekers during the first quarter of the year 2021, 578 males, and 671 in the females in SDHR system database.
In terms of government and private employment, 364 were employed in the government sector, and 205 were employed in the private sector during the first three months of the current year 2021.
The hiring results were based on professional development requirements during the first quarter, employing 364 job seekers according to the requirements and needs of government entities to support professional specialisations and field jobs. This included 322 males and 42 females. SDHR also conducted 120 virtual job interviews for job seekers in 30 government entities in the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairman of SDHR, stated that SDHR continues to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to employ 1000 citizens during 2021, at the level of cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.
On qualifying programmes for job seekers, SDHR implemented 63 qualification programmes, from which 4427 job seekers benefited from holders of various academic qualifications listed in the system of SDHR.
With regard to the development programmes for Sharjah government employees, SDHR implemented 100 development programmes during the first quarter of the year, targeting 4115 employees from government departments, institutions and federal bodies.
