The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR), represented by the performance appraisal system, organised a virtual dialogue session entitled "Tabadul", aimed at spreading a culture of forward-looking thought to generate innovative ideas, and discuss future plans that contribute to the development of the performance appraisal system.
Held via "WEBEX”, the session, which was presented by Nada Abdullah Al Juwaid, Head of the Monitoring System of the Performance Appraisal Department at the SDHR, and hosted Major Asim Ali Al Owais from the Sharjah Police, and Eng. Lamia Obaid Al Husan, Director of Support Services Department at Sharjah International Airport Authority, targeted the evaluation of officials in the support services departments in Sharjah government agencies, bodies and institutions.
The session addressed a number of topics, the most prominent of which are developments of remote work and its positive impact on employees, future projects for remote work, and development of goals and planning in line with the exceptional circumstances of crises and disasters, as well as the most important challenges and difficulties encountered in the stage of performance review and modification of the goals.
During the session, several development proposals were put forward regarding the performance appraisal system for its utmost importance, and considering its outputs as the first reference for advancing the career path.
The SDHR is constantly keen to hold dialogue sessions and workshops, which contribute to providing the best solutions that promote work, harness innovative ideas to serve the government work environment, and exchange views and experiences to achieve what the wise leadership aspires for.
