Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SHRD) and Chairman of the SHRD Supreme Committee, honoured the work teams of volunteers and organisers of the COVID-19 National Screening Centre in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Headed by Ahmed Ali AlNeyadi, Director of the Centre, the teams carried out early detection checks for coronavirus infections, which included employees of the Sharjah government and the private sector in the emirate, organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, represented by the Sharjah Medical District and the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, "SEHA".
The honouring is in recognition of the great efforts and the active role of the work teams of the National Screening Centre in Sharjah in organising and facilitating the completion of testing all employees of the departments, agencies and institutions of the Sharjah government, as well as citizens, residents, their families and the private sector in the emirate.
He valued all the efforts made by the Centre to facilitate the implementation of the testing process with high degrees of organisation and management and commitment to preventive measures, thanking all the work teams that took the initiative to cooperate under the circumstances and challenges necessitated by the current situation.
Bin Khadem expressed his deep thanks and gratitude for the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to carry out COVID-19 tests for all employees of the Sharjah government, their families and employees of the private sector in the emirate, saying that such directives stem from a parental concern and great interest in promoting the safety of everyone, and providing the best levels of health care, to protect the health of the people of the emirate, and to enhance their peace of mind.
