30 August, 2020

Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of Sharjah Human Resource Directorate (SHRD) hailed the decision to grant a special week-long exceptional leave, followed by working remotely, to female employees of the Sharjah government who have school-going children in the ninth grade and below.
He added that such decision would provide numerous social and educational benefits to the students and their families, especially during the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic, while observing all necessary health safety guidelines and preventive measures.

Bin Khadem stressed that SHRD and the Emirate of Sharjah is keen on implementing initiatives and programmes that would support all people of Sharjah, especially working mothers and students, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council.
