Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, represented by the Office of Events and Activities, organised a humanitarian initiative on the occasion of the International Charity Day, which falls on September 5th of each year. The Directorate’s employees contributed in the support of needy families affiliated to Sharjah Charity Association by providing gifts and in-kind donations.
HE Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Directorate of Human Resources, received the Association’s delegation headed by Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Director of Public Relations and Media, who confirmed the interest of the Directorate in activating the role of its employees on this important global occasion that entrenches the meanings of cooperation, cohesion and competition to do good deeds, promoting the spirit of responsibility and community solidarity. HE the Chairman of the Directorate presented a shield of gratitude to Sharjah Charity Association, in recognition of the ongoing partnership between both entities. The delegation also received the in-kind support provided by the Directorate’s employees to the needy families.
For her part, Jawaher Saif Al Oud, Director of the Events and Activities Office, explained that the initiative was well received by the employees who participated in providing support by various means and interacted with the humanitarian needs of the community.
She added that the Directorate is always keen to activate the role of the community by participating in such humanitarian initiatives that help educate employees on the importance of contribution to the happiness of needy families.
