“Etiquette and Protocol” at Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources

The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources started on Sunday 15/9/2019 the “Etiquette and Protocol” professional diploma targeting the employees of the entities and institutions of the government of Sharjah. This Diploma will continue until the 10th of October, knowing that it is organised within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the University of Sharjah and the Department related to the Community Leadership Initiative, based on the joint responsibility between government institutions, authorities and departments and with a view to activate work common goals and implement systematic development programs aiming at improving the efficiency of national cadres at work, enhancing their educational and professional capacities and providing them with practical experiences in order to achieve adaptation with variables, raise the efficiency of the government apparatus and reach an optimum investment in human resources. The Diploma is taking place at the Centre for Continuing Education in cooperation with the University of Sharjah.
The Diploma aims at qualifying and training government employees at all job levels and giving the participants an accredited certificate from the University of Sharjah. This Diploma is designed to be interactive and comprises various educational tools to enable the participants to work effectively and efficiently in a multi-faceted environment. The program presents a number of main themes which are: protocol basics – ceremonies, advanced protocol, leading teams and individuals in events, the various cultures, dealing with work pressure, UAE community identity, traits and customs.
