Sharjah Book Authority received, on Monday 23/09/2019, a promotional campaign as part of “Shop more with Waffer” campaign organised by Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, offering discounts to the employees of Sharjah Government, in an effort to promote and highlight the rate of discounts offered by the participating entities.

The campaign consisted of a promotional exhibition of the various services offered by the participating entities at the exhibition and the discount rates granted to the holders of Waffer Card. It also clarified how to  benefit from such discounts that contribute to the savings plan of the employee. The following companies participated in the exhibition: Al Zahia, Gourmet Box Restaurant & Cafe, Maven Spa, Touch of Oud, Karji Perfumes, Health & Healing Hospital for One Day Surgery and Four Points by Sheraton Sharjah.

Jawaher Saif Al Oud, Director of the Events and Activities Office, stated that Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources organised several promotional campaigns and exhibitions that had oustanding results and responded to several enquiries on the programmes and offers made by the companies, as well as the discounts that will be obtained by the holders of Waffer Card. The campaigns also established the culture of savings adopted by the programme and the importance of identifying the necessary needs of the employee, while focusing on our work and effort on meeting such needs, and attracting several companies that serve the consumer and the beneficiary in the first place. The campaigns are still ongoing to introduce the programme even further.

She added that we are able to measure our own success, through these campaigns, by our ability to progress towards achieving the goal that we have set since the establishment of the programme, in raising awareness of the Government employees on the importance of the saving culture, following the ambitious vision of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, May God preserve him, and within the strategic plan of the programme that seeks to provide incentives and special services to the government employees to encourage and motivate them, increase their competence and productivity and offer an encouraging environment to them, confirming the Directorate’s keenness to offer the best and apply high quality to impove the level of services offered to the Government employees.
