Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources welcomed The Big Heart Foundation at its headquarters in Al Dafin to present a workshop on the Foundation’s ativities and on how to cooperate with it.
The workshop was attended by a number of officials and Departments’ Directors and some of the Directorate’s employees. It included an introduction of the Big Heart Foundation and an explanation of its beginnings and most important achievements. The Foundation presented its projects through its Funds, namely Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Refugees and Internally Displaced People Fund, Middle East and North Africa Fund, Girls Empowerment Fund and Amira Fund.
It also tackled the most important sectors considered as the point of focus of the Foundation, i.e. healthcare, improvement of living conditions, food security, shelter, education, security and protection, water, sanitation and hygiene, as well as financial support. It highlighted the most important events held by the Foundation, namely Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and Support, and Investing in the Future Conference. It also presented the means of cooperation and participation in the campaign known as “The Big Heart Dirham”.
The Directorate of Human Resources hosted this Foundation as part of its Ramadan initiatives during this holy month, which aim to stimulate good deeds, support the needy and promote social and humanitarian solidarity.  The Directorate is keen to implement various events that support the humanitarian campaigns and projects organised by the charitable and voluntary associations in the Emirate, in order to enhance the spirit of social responsibility among its employees.
