On the occasion of the International Workers’ Day on the first of May, Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources held a ceremony for this occasion in its headquarters in Al Liya and its branch in Al Dafin, highlighting that this ceremony consolidates the State’s laws and policies that recommend human rights without any discrimination based on religion, nationality, race or social status.
Food was served during this ceremony where the employees participated in several entertainment games and activities and a competition to bring joy and pleasure to their hearts. Symbolic and in-kind gifts were distributed to the workers to encourage and motivate their work.
The Directorate’s celebration of the International Workers’ Day is a reflection of the efforts made by the workers and the services they provide to the Directorate, and the latter’s appreciation of such efforts through participation in social and humanitarian events.
