The Directorate of Human Resources continues to receive applications for the registration in summer training 2019 from school and university students in order to give a chance to a greater number of students wishing to seize the various training opportunities in all employment sectors provided by the Directorate in partnership with the entities, departments and institutions of Sharjah government.
The applications are being received in Sharjah at the Headquarters of Al Dafin branch while Khor Fakkan and Kalba branches are receiving the registration applications in the Eastern region.
The programme starts on the 14^th of July, lasts for 4 consecutive weeks until 8^th of August and targets the National students who are still pursuing their studies from the tenth grade up to the students completing their university education.
The programme will be implemented in all the cities and regions belonging to the Emirate of Sharjah so that every student receives his training in the city of region where he lives. It also covers all government entities as well as their branches in the different cities and regions of the Emirate.
The Directorate coordinates with its partners in the programme, consisting of the entities, departments and institutions of Sharjah government, to receive the trainee students in their headquarters.  The Students are nominated for a particular entity in conformity with multiple standards, including the requirements of their study specialisations, the need of the entity providing the training opportunity as well as the suitability of such opportunity with the students’ wishes.
The Directorate is keen to organise the summer training programme on a yearly basis during summer time for male and female students to fill their free time with what’s useful for them and for their community, develop their intellectual abilities and refine their personalities by establishing this contact between them and the work environments. Furthermore, it will develop their sense of responsibility and provide them with the skills and experiences that will help them in the future to engage in the work field.
This training is considered as the perfect opportunity to enhance the self-confidence of the students, allow them to form an initial perception of the academic direction that is suitable for them, prepare them to join the employment and business world, acquire a great amount of professional knowledge and learn about the work environment in a realistic way.
