The Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah, represented by Waffer Programme providing discounts to the employees of Sharjah government, concluded its summer events for travel and entertainment for the month of July 2019, that targeted the government entities and institutions in Sharjah. These events were held under the slogan of “your summer is better with Waffer”.
Exhibitions and promotional events were held in the headquarters of government authorities and institutions, to introduce the discounts as well as the entities joining the Programme. Many entities hosted the events, namely: The Directorate of Human resources, the Department of Culture, the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sharjah Airport, the Real Estate Registration Department, the Authority of Environment and Natural Reserves and the Department of eGovernment.
Numerous companies participated in the exhibitions, namely: Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (SATA), Fly Emirates, Etihad Airways, Fly Dubai, Fabe La Royal Chocolatier, Emaar Entertainment, Duty Free (Sharjah Airport), Al Bait, W Palm Hotel, Karji, Touch of oud and Hermosa Medical Centre.
During the events, the companies presented their various services offered to the employees, as well as the discount rates, and the method of making use of them in a way that enhances budgeting. These events were held in implementation of the strategic plan of the Directorate of Human Resources to provide the government employees with exclusive and exceptional services in order to make the most of the discounts offered by the companies taking part in Waffer Programme.
The events of the month of July were received with interest and great attention by the entities as well as their employees and administrations, that highlighted the importance of periodically holding such promotional events to achieve an appropriate level of awareness about benefiting from the offers and enhancing the culture of saving adopted by the Programme.
