The Events and Activities Office at Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources organising “Ramadan Bazaar” for the Directorate’s employees

As the holy month of Ramadan is getting closer, the Events and Activities Office at Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources organised Ramadan Bazaar for the Directorate’s employees at the headquarters of the Directorate in Al-Liya, in cooperation with the Social Services Department and several companies and institutions participating in “Waffer” Programme, and out of social responsibility and due to the Directorate’s keenness to contribute to the support of the producing families.
The Social Services Department participated in the provision of two programmes supported by the Directorate for the low-wage earners, namely: Waha Star Tailoring (prayer rugs, Quran covers, prayer veils), Mariam Trading Company (prayer veils, djellabas, headcovers). The entities and institutions that participated as well in the event and participated in Waffer Programme, are:  Lootah Perfumes, Anfasak Dakhoun, Bait Al Kandora, Royal Aqal Corner, Adwa’ Al-Samha Tailoring, Covina Cafe and Amal Al Mulla Abayas.
HE Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Directorate of Human Resources explained that the Ramadan Bazaar is organised in recognition of the employees and in support of the social contributions that sustain the social aspect of the government entities, so that the role of the Directorate is not limited to its corporate scope of work only, but extends to be a basic pillar for the community development, involving it in the continuation of comprehensive development in its wider sense in terms of the commitment to social responsibility initiatives.  He added that such events bring the employees closer to each other. He also thanked the Events and Activities Office for the outstanding initiatives that are always seeking to raise the level of all types of events organised at the Directorate.
Jawaher Seif Al Oud, Director of the Events and Activities Office and Director of Waffer Programme, stated: “We, at the Events Office, always seek to get closer to the employees, follow their needs and take care of them in order to promote the connection between the employees themselves and the work environment, by organising several events through which we seek to meet their needs at the workplace, as we are considered an important factor in the system of the Directorate of Human Resources, which is always seeking to improve the human capital by offering the best, most distinguished and high quality services”.
She added: We are planning to organise the same event at the Directorate’s branch in Al Dafin next Thursday.
