Training at Sharjah Driving Institute (SDI) began in October 1991 and was officially opened on 11/2/1992. SDI is one of the first government and academic training institutes in Arab region and Middle East, and considered as an excellent and successful experience in Emirate of Sharjah. SDI has made a quantum leap in quality of training and qualifying drivers to obtain driving licenses for different categories of light and heavy vehicles.
